Job Summary
Associate in U.S. Investment & Corporate Banking involved in the design, origination, structuring and execution of financial advisory, global capital markets, and related services for clients. Responsibilities include extensive quantitative research and modeling of corporate-finance alternatives, due diligence for transactions (M&A, acquisition finance, syndicated loans, and capital market financing), evaluating risk/return parameters, financial modeling and valuation, drafting client pitches and marketing materials, assisting in financing structuring and execution, and cultivating client relationships. Requires a Master’s degree in Finance or Economics or a minimum of 3 years of corporate finance and capital markets experience, and proficiency with FactSet, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, and Microsoft Office; Series 79 & 63 licenses. Salary range $175K-$225K; location San Francisco, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance or Economics or a minimum of 3 years of corporate finance and capital markets experience with a top-tier global bank
- Knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets and risk & pricing analysis
- Must have experience in the general TMT sector
- Advanced proficiency with FactSet, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Microsoft Office
- Series 79 & 63
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Creativity and intellectual curiosity
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative ideas and/or product solutions
- Draft client pitches and marketing materials, including M&A, syndicated bank financing, public/private debt & equity capital markets
