Job Summary
Create innovative, user-focused toy concepts and play experiences from early concept through final production-ready execution. Generate new ideas through research, trend review, brainstorming, and sketch exploration, then collaborate with product managers, engineers, vendors, QA, sculptors, and model makers to develop strong design solutions. Present design ideas clearly through sketches, mock-ups, and digital visuals while refining products to ensure they are safe, functional, manufacturable, and cost-effective. Manage timelines and priorities effectively while supporting multiple projects at different stages. Submit a portfolio as a cover letter attachment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Around 1– 3 years of relevant design experience, preferably in toys, preschool products, or a related consumer product category
- Strong design skills with the ability to translate ideas into compelling product concepts and final design solutions
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D design software
- Strong sketching, visual communication, and presentation skills
- Creative, curious, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Willingness to travel occasionally to the China office if needed
Desired Qualifications
- knowledge of SolidWorks or zBrush is a plus
