Job Summary
Operate a clean, well-maintained property to provide guests with a positive shopping experience while assisting the Senior General Manager in preparing multi-year capital and operating expense plans. Manage key metrics including net operating income, cash flow, occupancy, and sales, and develop the property team to ensure compliance with all policies and safety principles. Build relationships with corporate departments such as Leasing, Accounting, and Finance to align property objectives with company goals, and support real estate tax strategies and sustainability efforts to reduce the carbon footprint. Participate in the Manager on Duty schedule during evenings, weekends, and holidays, with on-site requirements including at least one Saturday per month. This role prepares the candidate to become a General Manager within 9-24 months, requiring relocation depending on company needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of property management experience
- shopping center industry experience
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Basic understanding of financial & accounting principles
- Effective writing and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing work environment
- Strong working knowledge of various computer software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, JDEdwards, Salesforce
- Recognized industry certification
- OSHA General Industries 30-Hour course
- Must be able to relocate depending on the company's need
- Must be available for MOD schedule during non-office hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be available for on-site at least one Saturday per month
