Job Summary
Manage and mentor a Data Management team (4+ up to 8) to deliver databases meeting customer requirements. Responsibilities include defining resource requirements, prioritizing assignments, evaluating staff competency, setting goals, guiding production of Data Management documentation, participating in recruitment and onboarding, implementing new processes/technology, ensuring SOP/work instruction compliance, and maintaining high-quality project milestones. Lead functional reviews of data management deliverables, provide technical advice to internal/external customers, participate in proposal defenses, and contribute to scope, budgeting, and timeline discussions. Requires strong leadership, excellent organizational and communication skills, and deep knowledge of Data Management processes, clinical drug development, and project leadership. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Clinical, biological or mathematical sciences or related field, or nursing qualification
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- Advanced knowledge of Data Management processes and systems
- Broad understanding of clinical drug development process
- Good oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage projects
- Effective problem solving skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
