Job Summary
Associate Manager role focused on IBM i (AS/400 / iSeries) development with deep RPG, ILE RPG, CL, DDS, IFS expertise. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining EDI applications and 3PL/DC warehouse integrations within the ISIS ERP, collaborating with international EDI specialists and project leadership, and supporting production systems. Requires experience integrating EDI processes, strong SQL/DB2 for i knowledge, and the ability to work in mission-critical environments while communicating effectively in English. Emphasizes growth, collaboration, and belonging within Mattel's flexible work model.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience as an IBM i / AS/400 / iSeries developer
- Strong mastery of RPG and ILE RPG
- Solid background in system programming IFS and structured programming methodologies
- Proven experience integrating EDI processes, customers, and logistics partners
- Knowledge of 3PL / warehouse / distribution center (DC) processes
- Strong understanding of database concepts (DB2 for i) and SQL
- Ability to work in complex, mission-critical, high-availability environments
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Basic Knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., EDIFACT, ANSI X12)
- Demonstrated growth mindset and willingness to learn
