Job Summary
Manage internal and external communications efforts, producing executive reports for divisional leadership and directing marketing and promotional strategies. Oversee communications projects to ensure alignment with strategic priorities, while evaluating effectiveness across platforms and audiences. Direct website and social media activity, manage vendor relationships, and serve as a division spokesperson when appropriate. May oversee staff and manage the division budget. This role requires residency in Georgia and a flexible weekly schedule that may include remote work.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, art or other related field
- Six years of experience in the development of marketing and informational materials, writing/research, project management and/or information technology
- Knowledge of publishing and other related software
- Demonstrated creativity in the design of marketing, public relations or educational programs and communications materials
- Residency in the state of GA
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in higher education or academic medical center settings
- Familiarity with donor engagement and advancement events
- Knowledge of neuroscience, brain health, or related fields
- Experience with digital engagement tools and event platforms
