Job Summary
Secure and retain business through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision influencers at existing and new clinical sponsors. Actively prospect and develop opportunities within target accounts; cultivate long-term relationships; understand IQVIA services for cross-sell opportunities; analyze customer needs, propose strategy/solutions, and coordinate with contracts/proposals to develop and close. Lead sales presentations, educate teams on customer culture and requirements, manage follow-up and contract documentation, and monitor customer satisfaction. Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans, identify opportunities, and track actions against targets. Serve as liaison between customers and technical/operational groups, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and successful outcomes. Maintain visibility within customers and adapt strategies to meet market demands and financial targets. Proficient in building relationships with coworkers and clients and in leveraging data to drive decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management
- 5-10 years related experience including 3 years in CRO/Pharmaceutical and/or sales
- Proven track record with mid-level and high-level contacts
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience with CRM systems and MS Office Suite
