Job Summary
Lead project management for a portfolio of metrics/analytics projects within Global Clinical Trial Operations to support strategic decisions, improve planning/execution, and monitor performance. Responsibilities include collecting and prioritizing user requests for system upgrades/bug fixes, managing timelines/resources through Agile and Waterfall, coordinating SIT/UAT and release planning, approving change requests, developing business cases with process owners, ensuring SDLC documentation, communicating system changes to stakeholders, maintaining data exchange processes, and ensuring adherence to SLAs. Strong leadership and collaboration with MAP and R&D IT, plus proficiency with BI tools (Qlik Sense, Power BI) and SQL. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in IT Project Management; PMP/CPM preferred; clinical trials experience preferred; capable of operating in a matrix environment with effective stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years experience in IT Project Management
- 5 years of experience in clinical research/clinical development preferred
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience with SDLC documentation and change control
- Knowledge of SQL or other database/query tools is a plus
- Experience with BI/tools: Qlik Sense, Power BI
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead in a matrix environment and influence stakeholders
- PMP and/or CPM certification preferred
- Experience in test planning: SIT/UAT, test cases, issues tracking, deployment readiness
- Ability to drive large strategic projects and manage cross-functional teams
