Assoc Dir Disaster Recovery Governance leads Regeneron’s IT Disaster Recovery governance program, designing governance frameworks, coordinating quarterly/annual recovery tests, and driving continuous improvement to ensure recovery capabilities align with evolving business, technology, and regulatory requirements. The role involves representing DR during Solution Design Engineering Reviews, governing CMDB/DR metadata and interdependencies in ServiceNow, developing and enforcing DR policies and SOPs, coordinating testing and corrective actions, partnering with engineering teams and SaaS vendors to close capability gaps and automate DR processes, and acting as command-and-control lead during planned and unplanned recovery events. The ideal candidate translates complex technical requirements into clear recovery strategies, collaborates across infrastructure, application, and business teams in a matrix environment, communicates with engineers and executives, and thrives on data-driven decision-making while maintaining regulatory rigor and protecting critical operations in life-sciences manufacturing. A Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of enterprise DR governance experience plus 10–15 years in IT infrastructure or related fields are required, with validated expertise in DR tooling and CMDB/BCM platforms (ServiceNow preferred).
