Job Summary
Perform clinical care consistent with the patient's treatment plan, including vital signs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point of care testing as directed by unit standards. Collect data to contribute to the assessment of individual strengths and limitations while assisting patients with activities of daily living such as showering, oral hygiene, and laundry. Provide input to the assigned nurse regarding patient progress, promote a safe therapeutic environment, and actively participate in gathering patients for groups. Assure orientation of newly admitted patients and establish a therapeutic relationship, while providing immediate feedback to the charge nurse about any safety concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
- Less than 1 year experience
