Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, functional limitations, and mobility goals based on therapist assessment findings and physician orders. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and caregivers, to develop individualized plans of care and recommend appropriate Complex Rehabilitation Technology equipment. Manage procurement processes from specification through delivery and deliver, fit, and thorough training on safe equipment use. Maintain accurate documentation, attain annual sales goals, and review sales outcomes. Keep abreast of funding requirements, technological advances, and vendor products while maintaining all certifications and licenses. Provide excellent customer service and adhere to confidentiality policies and Numotion Leadership Principles.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Valid Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required to generate appropriate, individualized recommendations for CRT equipment and interventions
  • Working knowledge of compliant billing processes for rehab/assistive technology equipment as necessary (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)
  • Must have valid Drivers License
  • Ability to meet essential functions of the position with reasonable accommodations as necessary
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum one (1) year experience working with complex rehabilitation technology
  • Previous experience in selling DME equipment
  • Extensive knowledge of various clinical conditions impacting mobility, such as spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and stroke
  • Comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation equipment, including power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, seating systems, adaptive controls, and other assistive devices
  • Ability to perform thorough and competent seating/mobility, assistive technology, and rehab equipment evaluations
