Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, functional limitations, and mobility goals based on therapist assessment findings and physician orders. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, clients, and caregivers to develop individualized plans of care and recommend appropriate Complex Rehabilitation Technology equipment. Manage procurement processes from specification through delivery, deliver and fit equipment, and provide thorough training on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Complete accurate documentation of client interactions and maintain eligibility status with vendor systems. Attain and exceed annual sales goals by reviewing sales outcomes and developing new referral relationships. Maintain all certifications, licenses, and continuing education while adhering to Numotion's Leadership Principles and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Valid Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification
- Demonstrate critical thinking, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required to generate appropriate, individualized recommendations for CRT equipment and interventions
- Working knowledge of compliant billing processes for rehab/assistive technology equipment as necessary (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)
- Must have valid Drivers License
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs as needed
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year experience working with complex rehabilitation technology
- Previous experience in selling DME equipment
- Extensive knowledge of various clinical conditions impacting mobility, such as spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and stroke
- Comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation equipment, including power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, seating systems, adaptive controls, and other assistive devices
- Ability to perform thorough and competent seating/mobility, assistive technology, and rehab equipment evaluations
