Job Summary
Join Meritus Health as an Assistive Technology Professional providing clinical expertise and operational support within the Home Medical Equipment team. Responsibilities include conducting home visits, developing individualized care plans, performing patient evaluations, setting up custom mobility devices, and providing training to both patients and healthcare professionals. The role requires strong patient assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and prior experience in rehabilitation and mobility solutions. Candidates must hold a high school diploma, specialized coursework in relevant areas, and an active ATP credential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Specialized coursework in power mobility, seating, and positioning assessment
- Credentialed by RESNA (ATP and RTS required)
- Active ATP credential
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no moving violations preferred in past 3 years)
- Annual certified driving record submission required
- Minimum 2 years in rehab/mobility
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year in home care/DME experience
- 1 year ATP experience
