Job Summary
Assistive Technology Access Specialist provides statewide AT consultations to HireAbility clients, collaborates with Career Counselors, manages an AT inventory for demonstration/loan, and travels statewide (remote consults possible). Requires knowledge of rehabilitation engineering/AT, experience assessing and recommending assistive technology, and ability to work with clients with disabilities; strong emphasis on adapting technology to education and career goals, ongoing professional development, and cross-team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of full-time college coursework or an Associate's degree or higher in rehabilitation engineering or a related engineering field, computer science, education, rehabilitation sciences, or a human services field
- Two or more years of experience in Assistive Technology and/or accommodation determination and support
