Job Summary
Provide quality personal care and daily living support for residents, including assisting with activities of daily living as outlined in their plan of care. Perform medication passes in accordance with regulations, resident preferences, and the five rights. Complete monthly summaries, obtain vitals including weights, document resident updates and exceptions in the EMR, and wash and dry resident laundry. Monitor meal service, provide reminders, assist with general cleaning, and help residents reach activities. Communicate resident concerns or needs with leadership and coordinate with oncoming/off-going shifts while following infection control standards. Schedule is 2:00pm to 10:00pm with every other weekend off. Starting pay is $16.00 plus experience adjustments. Required Qualifications
- Certified as a 40-hour Medication Aide in the state of Nebraska
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive sitting, bending, and standing movements
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience working with the elderly in an Assisted Living or Dementia Care setting preferred
- Comfort using technology and resources efficiently
