Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) PRN at Livingston Place Assisted Living Community responsible for monitoring residents, managing medications, supervising care team, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards, maintaining confidential records, coordinating with doctors and families, and promoting compassionate, dignified care. Responsibilities include charting admissions/discharges/transfers, re-evaluations of ADL needs, administering medications, counting controlled substances, maintaining care records, and communicating status changes to families and healthcare staff. Requires English proficiency, CPR certification, and active nursing licensure with 6 months of nursing experience; shift availability on-call; emphasizes teamwork and a positive, warm care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have appropriate nursing licensure (i.e., Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), etc.). License must be active and in good standing
- Minimum six months on the job experience as a licensed nurse required; experience providing care to seniors preferred
- Receive and maintain CPR and all other required certification(s)
- Supervisory/administrative experience preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
