Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides personalized care in an Assisted Living Community, administering medications, monitoring residents' health, and maintaining accurate, confidential care records. Responsibilities include charting admissions/discharges/transfers, reporting changes in condition, coordinating with families and doctors, supervising care team, ensuring compliance with federal/state/local standards, and maintaining a warm, respectful environment. Evening/overnight shifts are available (3 PM–11 PM and 11 PM–7 AM) with alternating weekends, and the role involves direct interaction with residents and coordination with the nursing department.
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing licensure (RN, LVN, LPN, etc.)
- License must be active and in good standing
- Minimum six months on-the-job experience as a licensed nurse
- CPR and all other required certifications
- Proficiency in English
- Proficiency in Point Click Care/electronic health records
- Supervisory/administrative experience preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
