Job Summary
Oversee the operations of the community’s assisted living program, aligning resident needs, state regulations, and company policies to provide exceptional care. Hire, train, supervise and schedule care staff; coordinate and monitor services relating to resident care needs through service plans; update care and services to residents and review service plans with residents and families; provide hands-on training and support to medication aides and caregiving staff; alert the RN Consultant when a resident’s condition changes; conduct timely audits of the medication administration program; address resident and family concerns promptly; model leadership and professionalism to staff, residents, and families. The role is frequently referred to as Healthcare Coordinator/Executive Director in related contexts; licensing requirements and state regulations apply. CPR certification is preferred; experience with supervision, training, and compliance with state regulations is important.
Required Qualifications
- Have or obtain state certifications and licenses
- Demonstrated experience supervising team members and providing training and support
- Understand and follow State regulations as well company policies and guidelines
- English language required
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Must pass criminal background check and drug test
