Job Summary
Assisted Living Caregiver provides day-to-day resident care including ADLs (dressing, bathing, walking, feeding), escorts residents to meals/activities, maintains health records, documents changes, and responds to emergencies. Role requires PPE per CDC guidelines, adherence to regulations (e.g., COVID procedures), completion of training/recertification, and effective communication with staff, residents, and families. Certifications include CNA/HHA credentials; CPR and First-Aid are required. The position emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and ability to document and report health-related observations; expected to lift/move up to 50 pounds and work in a setting with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Home Health Aide Certificate.
- CNA
- HHA
- CPR certified
- First-Aid certified
