Job Summary
Deliver personal care to residents according to facility policies, quality improvement guidelines, and local, state, and federal regulations. Promote residents' opportunities for engaging in normal life pursuits and improving or maintaining functioning levels. Assist with food preparation and serving, pick up clutter, remove trash, clean spills, and transport residents within assigned households. Attend household meetings and learning circles while fulfilling simple resident requests. Maintain living and work areas clean and orderly. Work full-time days from 6:45 am to 7 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Freedom from illegal use of drugs
- Freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
- Must be able to speak, read & write the English language in an understandable manner
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately
- One year experience working with the elderly preferred
