Assisted Hygiene

Establish and maintain continued patient care relationships by verifying and documenting health history while educating patients on oral hygiene and offered procedures. Perform clinical hygiene functions including exposing and evaluating diagnostic x-rays, taking and recording blood pressure, polishing, flossing, applying fluoride, and charting existing and treatment-planned work. Manage the nonsurgical periodontal program as directed by the dentist. Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training. Requires Dental Radiation Certification and dental software experience; two years of dental office experience preferred.
