Job Summary
Assist the head coach in designing and leading varsity girls wrestling practices while supervising student-athletes. Administer a comprehensive wrestling program by teaching fundamental skills, strategies, and physical training necessary for individual and team success. Model behaviors that promote character development, self-discipline, and teamwork while adhering to ISD 518 rules and procedures. Continue developing professional knowledge through clinics, observations, and consultation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of wrestling
- Willingness to continue learning new theories, strategies, and procedures related to the sport
Desired Qualifications
- Previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport preferred
