Assistant Women's Swim Coach

Job Summary
Assist the head swimming coach in all facets of the swimming program, including on-deck coaching, recruiting and assisting with travel arrangements. Responsibilities include recruiting new members, on-deck coaching and workout management, supervising athletes, evaluating swimming techniques, coaching at competitions, managing strength and conditioning coordination, completing NCAA reports and correspondence to recruits, organizing home competitions and travel arrangements, and participating in banquets and fundraising efforts. Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree, CPR and First Aid, and at least one year of coaching experience. Proficiency with Word/Excel/Publisher and knowledge of NCAA and MAC rules are expected, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 1 year experience coaching individuals or groups at high schools, clubs or universities
- Knowledge of stroke mechanics
- Familiarity with the rules of the NCAA and MAC
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher
