Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

Job Summary
Assist the Head Coach to teach basic and advanced soccer skills during individual sessions, team practices, and strength and conditioning workouts. Develop and implement safe practice plans that prepare student-athletes with sport fundamentals and conditioning. Create comprehensive game plans for each contest, including opponent evaluation, scouting reports, and in-game adjustments. Organize administrative tasks such as team travel, scheduling, budget preparation, compliance, and fundraising. Manage academics, retention, and graduation tracking while adhering to all NCCAA rules and regulations. Work 20 hours per week for 12 months as a part-time role reporting to the Athletic Director.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-4 years of playing/coaching soccer
- Strong public speaking skills that connect with 18-22-year old athletes
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to successfully help recruit a full roster each season with mission fit student athletes
- Christian commitment and adherence to the standards outlined in the OCU Community Lifestyle Statement
- Knowledge of, and adherence to all NCCAA rules and regulations pertaining to recruiting, eligibility, and general operation of the program
