Assistant Women's Ice Hockey Coach: Part Time

Job Summary
Assist the Head Women's Ice Hockey Coach in organizing, supervising, and evaluating practice sessions, games, and conditioning programs for the NCAA Division II program. Guide and instruct student-athletes while identifying, evaluating, and recruiting potential recruits. Promote NCAA compliance, represent the sports program in the community, and coordinate personal development initiatives and community service activities. Communicate regularly with students, parents, university personnel, high school coaches, and conference officials. Prioritize attendance at university events including Orientation, Graduation, and Athletics Awards Night. Serves as a Campus Security Authority and Responsible Employee for Title IX reporting. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Administration. Requires working weekends and nights.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the University as well as show respect for the Catholic and Assumptionist identity of Assumption University
- Shall maintain current certification in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automatic external defibrillator (AED) use
- Must have a current driver's license and meet the qualifications of an Assumption University Driver
Desired Qualifications
- University coaching experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree /Master's preferred
