Job Summary

Recruit student-athletes nationally and internationally by managing the recruiting database, executing the plan, and organizing on-campus visits. Coach a Division I hockey program by developing strategies, traveling to away competitions, and coordinating logistics including flights, buses, hotels, and practice itineraries. Manage program operations by planning the annual banquet, overseeing equipment orders, reconciling travel and purchasing cards monthly, and assisting coaches with expense reconciliations. Coordinate social media platforms, alumni events, and official visit weekends while adhering to Ivy League, ECAC, and NCAA rules. Work within the Department of Athletics administration, communicating effectively with students, faculty, and alumni. Nights, weekends, and travel required; eligible for overtime.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent coaching experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • First Aid, AED, and CPR certification within four months of hire
  • Proficient with MS office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • An understanding of the fundamental role that intercollegiate athletics, properly implemented, can play in the educational development of our student-athletes
  • Must have a valid, permanent driver's license
  • Nights, weekends and travel required
  • Eligible for Overtime

Desired Qualifications

  • Collegiate hockey experience preferred
