Maintain and implement nursing policies and procedures that reflect current standards, company philosophy, and state/federal regulations while ensuring compliance. Communicate these protocols to nursing staff, monitor their effective implementation, and interpret them to achieve desired results. Conduct resident assessments to suggest appropriate service packages for residents and families as directed. Ensure delivery of compassionate quality care through adequate staff coverage, cleanliness, and maintenance of optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial function. Demonstrate knowledge of Key Clinical Quality Indicators and review 24-hour reports daily to address significant changes, transfers, injuries, or potential abuse. Listen and document significant changes in resident conditions, including incidents, medication errors, or family dissatisfaction per agency policies and regulations.
