Job Summary
Assistant Wellness Director at Greenbriar Village (Sonida Senior Living) leads nursing services in an Assisted Living/Memory Care community. Responsibilities include maintaining and implementing nursing policies and procedures, communicating and interpreting policies to nursing staff, conducting resident assessments and suggesting level-of-care packages, ensuring compassionate quality care with appropriate staff coverage and facility conditions, applying knowledge of Key Clinical Quality Indicators, and reviewing daily 24-hour reports to address changes in residents' condition, incidents, medication errors, potential abuse or neglect, and family satisfaction. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, and 2 years of professional nursing experience in a senior living setting with 2 years of supervisory/management experience; some states may permit an unlicensed position.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Two-year professional nursing experience in a senior living care setting
- Two-years supervisory/management experience with direct care staff
- Some states may allow for this to be an unlicensed position (WI, TX, SC)
