Job Summary
Assistant Warehouse Supervisor Outbound in Zaandam leads a team of 8-10 warehouse operators, coordinates with the other assistants and supervisor, and applies LEAN principles to monitor productivity and ensure safety and quality. Responsible for outbound operations, daily planning and performance, 5S standards, and Kaizen/improvement projects; conducts daily kick-off meetings, uses the WMS and tracking board, and steps in during supervisor absence. Focuses on process optimization, staffing, coaching, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards; requires leadership, analytical ability, and strong English communication.
Required Qualifications
- MBO-level working and thinking skills
- Experience of managing teams in logistics
- Strong interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
- Analytical skills, with comfort working in Excel
- Proactive attitude and ready to take initiative about the current process
- Good English skills, spoken and written
