Job Summary
Coordinates distribution and warehousing in a cross dock operation; confers with customers and industry representatives to evaluate and promote improved services; develops plans for efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees; reviews costs to maintain profitable operation; participates in marketing and sales efforts to ensure facilities meet company goals with P&L accountability; supervises warehouse staff including Team Leaders and Operations Supervisors; for food accounts, reports food safety problems to authorized personnel.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of related experience and/or training
- PC proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
