Job Summary
Midwest Veterinary Supply seeks an Assistant Warehouse Manager to oversee Pulling, Shipping, and Receiving departments, ensuring customer service and efficiency while managing staff training and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
- A minimum of two years of experience as a supervisor within a distribution setting is preferred
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Forklift certified or ability to become forklift certified required
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Basic computer skills, ability to operate a Windows-based computer and data entry
- Good listening and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage, delegate to, and lead employees
Desired Qualifications
- Specialized warehouse management training of at least two years
- A minimum of two years of experience within the veterinary industry
