Job Summary
Assistant Warehouse Manager responsible for owning and optimizing daily warehouse operations (inbound, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, returns), ensuring timely and accurate order processing to support customer service and business needs. Oversees inventory control activities including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and shrinkage prevention; supervises and develops warehouse staff to maintain high performance and discipline on the floor. Coordinates with internal stakeholders across supply chain, customer service, transport, finance, and sales to execute operations smoothly; enforces SOPs, safety, housekeeping, and compliance. Tracks KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time dispatch, inventory accuracy, productivity, and turnaround time; supports process improvements to improve efficiency, cost control, and service levels. Manages third-party vendors/transport partners where applicable and ensures proper ERP/SAP documentation and system updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, or related field
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in warehouse / logistics operations
- Must have handled a team of warehouse staff / operators / supervisors
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes including inventory control, dispatch, receiving, and stock reconciliation
- Experience working with ERP / SAP systems and MS Office, especially Excel
- Good understanding of warehouse safety, compliance, and operational controls
- Strong people management, problem-solving, and coordination skills
