Assistant Warehouse Manager

Manage day-to-day fulfillment of customer orders in the Value Added/Outbound Consumer Section, ensuring shipments are complete, on time, and meet hourly rate standards. Supervise employees during tasks, coach, counsel, and evaluate staff performance while maintaining compliance with company rules. Reconcile inventory, shipments, and returns in systems daily, pack and ship orders per customer standards, and maintain documentation of shipping protocols. Support the warehouse manager in functional areas outside immediate departments, manage product returns, and interact with sales administrators and customer service staff. Develop and maintain a purchasing replenishment program for packaging and MRO items, ensuring proper preventative maintenance for equipment. Staff departments according to budget and volume, manage KPIs regarding fill rate and units shipped, and participate in monthly safety meetings.
