Job Summary
Assistant Warehouse Manager will operate a safe, efficient, orderly and clean warehouse for the storage of donated goods and merchandise, fill warehouse product requests for retail operations, and manage loading of store shipments. Essential duties include overseeing daily production operations across warehousing, shipping/receiving, maintaining accurate inventory of donated goods, coordinating with the Warehouse Manager and stores, ensuring policy compliance, preparing reports, supervising staff, and maintaining security and safety of the facility. Requires strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work with management to achieve productivity goals, and forklift operation proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or GED
- 1 year of experience supervising warehouse operations
- Able to operate a forklift
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to use email, Excel, and Word; ability to learn new programs
