Job Summary
Support and enforce safety guidelines as the top priority while assisting in planning and organizing the warehouse area for maximum efficiency. Supervise personnel in the shipping and receiving areas to ensure efficient workflows and fill in for the Warehouse Manager when needed. Provide back-up to warehouse staff when short-handed and actively participate in employee training and development. Communicate frequently with all staff to support goal achievement. This role requires supervisor or managerial experience, including at least one year with forklifts, and involves standing for long periods while lifting up to 60 lbs regularly. You will work Monday through Friday with flexibility for extra hours, reporting to Laddawn, an innovative plastics manufacturer keeping warehouses busy 24/7.
Required Qualifications
- Supervisor or managerial experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience using forklifts
- Excellent communications skills in English, both written and verbal
- The ability to learn and enforce company policies consistently and fairly
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programs easily
- The endurance to spend long periods of time on your feet and can lift, push, pull, move up to 60 lbs regularly
- No fear of heights
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to work extra hours when needed
