Job Summary
Assistant Warehouse Manager role focusing on maintaining efficient warehouse operations and delivering garage doors across the South East and Midlands. Responsibilities include loading/unloading vehicles, leading loading for deliveries, stock control, picking/packing, trade counter duties, despatching doors, using Sage systems, and acting as key holder in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. Requires a clean driving licence, experience in warehouse operations, ability to drive in the South East, physical fitness for heavy lifting, strong communication, teamwork, and reliability. Full-time hours 7:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, Crawley-based site in the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Clean Driving Licence (maximum of 3 points)
- Experience in warehouse operations/forklift use
- Experience of driving around the South East
- Physically fit; heavy lifting involved
- Excellent communication skills
- Forward thinking
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Trustworthy
