Job Summary
Coordinate camps, clinics, and team contests while organizing practice sessions, managing travel, and overseeing student-athletes during events. Assist in enforcing the RVC and NJCAA Student Athlete Code of Conduct, tracking recruitment plans, and reporting results on the Athletics website and social media. Manage athletic equipment inventory and coordinate transfer activities for student-athletes. Support academic initiatives by coordinating struggling athletes with campus resources and ensuring adherence to mandatory study hall and advising requirements. Comply with all NJCAA rules while maintaining social media platforms according to institutional guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to take on many different projects at one time
- Supportive of the initiation and ongoing development of the Colleges' Athletic Strategic Plan
- Strong interpersonal and human relations skills
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Ability to effectively communicate to both players, support staff and supervisors
- Ability to navigate through Microsoft platforms using analytical data pertinent to Department and Sport requirements
- Capable of using independent judgment to solve problems and complex situations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Effective oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work with a diverse population
- Ability to integrate, evaluate and actively recruit within and outside of the greater-Rockford community
- Must possess knowledge on Golf that allows an ability to design and execute practices for player and team development continuously
