Job Summary
Assistant Volleyball Coach provides support to the Head Coach and other staff to develop student-athletes’ volleyball skills, promote sportsmanship, and foster a positive team culture emphasizing academic success and safety. Responsibilities include planning and conducting practices focusing on skill development and conditioning, teaching fundamentals, assisting with game strategy and scouting, mentoring players, monitoring eligibility, supervising athletes during practices and travel, managing equipment and game-day logistics, and communicating with parents and staff while adhering to district policies and CHSAA regulations. The role requires maintaining a safe environment, professionalism, leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively within the athletic department.
Required Qualifications
- CHSAA Coaching Certification
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Ability to follow district policies and CHSAA regulations
