Job Summary
Execute intermediate editing tasks including string-outs, selects reels, and rough cuts while working closely with an editor or producer. Edit content for EO.F's platforms, including video clip-outs and full-length podcasts. Support editors by preparing project files, importing media, organizing timelines, sourcing stock music and footage, and handling transcript preparation and formatting. Ingest and manage digital footage from production, ensuring all necessary media is properly cataloged and accessible. Maintain editorial workflows by archiving and documenting all associated media efficiently. Perform quality control by identifying discrepancies in audio, video, or graphics to uphold production standards. This full-time role reports to the Head of Post Production in Austin, TX, with a base salary commensurate with experience and robust group PPO health insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge and familiarity with DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut X, and Compressor
- Familiarity with multicam editing workflows
