Job Summary
The Assistant Vice President - Valuation will be a key member of the International Finance team, responsible for reviewing the valuation of investments under BEFM management. The role includes overseeing the valuation process, delivering comprehensive reports to governance bodies, managing team performance, leading governance and reporting, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in a relevant field, over 7 years of finance experience, expertise in valuation methodologies, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar discipline
- +7 years of relevant financial services industry experience
- Good understanding of alternative industry operations
- Hands-on professional
- Ability to manage competing priorities to tight reporting deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- CFA or CAIA is a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in valuation methodologies and practices
- Strong leadership skills
- Exceptional organizational and documentation abilities
- Knowledge of local regulatory requirements regarding AIFM and Luxembourg Funds
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluent in English, both written and oral
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
