Job Summary
Assistant Vice President, Treasures Investment Counsellor in the Consumer Banking Group focuses on growing MF AUM and trail revenue in the assigned catchment, training frontline staff on investment products (including mutual funds, PMS, FX, and AML compliance), coaching relationship managers, and providing market updates and product feedback to drive customer-centric, compliant investment solutions. The role emphasizes optimizing investment recommendations based on client risk profiles, maintaining knowledge dissemination on fund fact sheets and market updates, boosting investment penetration and RM productivity, and collaborating with unit heads to sustain sustainable income through activation of team members. Requires 7–10 years in banking/NBFC client portfolios, a bachelor’s degree, MF distribution/CFP preferred certifications, and strong communication and interpersonal skills with willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
- Mandatory MF distribution exam and PMS certification CFP preferred
- 7-10 years of experience in banks/NBFC handling client portfolios
- Expertise in MF/PMS/AIF and investment products
- Knowledge of current markets – Debt/Equity/Economy
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Willing to travel
