Job Summary
Assistant Vice President, Investor Services in Montreal will oversee a team responsible for providing share registrar and transfer agency services to clients. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of clients, reviewing offering and subscription documents, and liaising with investors, investment managers, directors and lawyers across international jurisdictions. The role requires strong leadership, project management, and in-depth industry knowledge in a challenging environment. Candidate should be a university graduate with 5 years’ experience in investor services for investment funds, with a solid understanding of investment fund structures and regulatory requirements, and experience in managing a registrar and transfer agency team; experience with TA software such as MSHARE, Investran, World Investor and Intralinks is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- University graduate with excellent academic background and 5 years’ relevant experience in investor services for investment funds
- Detailed understanding of all forms of investment fund structures
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant local and international laws and regulatory requirements
- Direct experience in managing a team of registrar and transfer agency administrators
- Experience with industry-recognised share registrar and transfer agency software systems; familiarity with MS Share, Investran, World Investor and Intralinks would be a plus
