Assistant Vice President, Reconciliation

Job Summary
Lead day-to-day reconciliation across cash, positions, and trades for Antares funds; manage and develop a reconciliation team; drive break resolution, establish controls, and monitor exception management to reduce risk and improve quality; partner with internal teams, custodians, fund administrators, and technology providers to onboard new products and implement process improvements; prepare and present reconciliation metrics and risk themes to senior leadership; maintain audit-ready documentation and support audits and remediation efforts; leverage data and technology (e.g., Geneva, IVP, DUCO, Loan IQ, Wall Street Office) to increase efficiency and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in reconciliation, loan operations, fund operations, accounting operations, or a related financial services function
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and managing issue resolution in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong understanding of operational controls, exception management, and reconciliation best practices within financial services
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel, and experience with reconciliation or accounting platforms such as Geneva, Indus Valley Partners, DUCO
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, senior stakeholders, and external partners
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience documenting processes, defining controls, and supporting audit and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and the ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
- Project management and change management experience, including process redesign, system enhancements, or workflow optimization initiatives
- Strong knowledge of syndicated loans and private credit operations required
- Experience with Loan IQ, Wall Street Office, or similar platforms is a plus
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Must be willing to work from the Chicago office.
