Job Summary
Manage production environments by proactively monitoring systems, troubleshooting application failures, and resolving critical issues across platforms. Own incident management, conduct root cause analysis, and automate scripts to address business needs while maintaining up-to-date documentation and a knowledge base of known defects. Support application releases, infrastructure changes, and disaster recovery tests, ensuring continuity and quality through collaboration with CIO and platform teams. Take part in production support rotation and escalate unresolved issues as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology Management, or related
- 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation
- 3 years of experience utilizing relational systems including Oracle and SQL Server
- 3 years of experience performing query data for debugging in SQL
- 3 years of experience applying critical thinking to handle technical troubleshooting, rootcause analysis, and to take preventative measures
- 3 years of experience analyzing logs, error messages, and system metrics, and understanding system dependencies and upstream/downstream impacts
- 3 years of experience using Splunk, AppDynamics, and Dynatrace monitoring tools to proactively detect issues
- 3 years of experience utilizing production ready software using Web, Cloud, and Hadoop distributed technologies
