Job Summary
Lead business analysis activities for risk management and VaR platform implementation projects by engaging with business users, risk teams, and IT stakeholders to document requirements and prepare process flows. Collaborate with vendors to evaluate solution options, review designs, and facilitate workshops ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions. Support impact assessments, gap analyses, and feasibility studies for new risk methodologies and platform enhancements while managing requirements, scope, and change requests from initiation through implementation. Develop and execute UAT strategies to ensure milestones are delivered on schedule.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Risk Management, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience delivering large-scale system implementation projects involving risk management, margining, VaR, pricing, or post-trade systems
- Solid understanding of market risk concepts, including Value-at-Risk (VaR), margin methodologies, stress testing, or derivatives products
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process modelling, functional analysis, and solution design
- Proven ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver technology solutions
- Familiarity with SDLC, Agile delivery methodologies, and project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple initiatives concurrently
- Experience in exchange, clearing, risk management, or regulatory environments
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of clearing and post-trade operations is an advantage
- Experience with SQL, Python, data analysis tools, or reporting solutions is preferred
- Experience in exchange, clearing, risk management, or regulatory environments will be highly regarded
