Job Summary
Coordinate activities with Lending Personnel and Credit Administration to assist in underwriting new loans, research tenant conditions, and manage exceptions. Prepare portfolio management reports, credit risk ratings, and relationship reviews while collecting financial statements, rent rolls, and tax returns from customers. Manage documentation exception reporting and perform site inspections as required. Act as the day-to-day point of contact for customer service issues, cross-sell bank services, and contribute to team management of customer problems. Establish working relationships with other bank departments and perform additional duties as needed. This role focuses on managing credit risk and loan quality in the commercial loan portfolio for the Institution for Savings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business or related fields
- 3-5 years of commercial credit experience with focus on commercial real estate lending
- Strong analytical skills and an understanding of financial accounting
- Excellent communications, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and multi-task
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in core banking systems (Jack Henry preferred but not required)
