Assistant Vice President, Pen Test Coordinator

Job Summary
Manage day-to-day relationships with external penetration test vendors, acting as the primary interface for scope agreements, engagement dates, and access authorizations. Coordinate the execution of penetration testing engagements, including onboarding and offboarding external testers, while ensuring vendor rig images are updated and blocking issues are resolved. Document findings, track remediation progress, and obtain evidence to support closure. Produce accurate metrics on penetration testing to support governance, regulatory, and audit enquiries. Assemble data on SLA breaches for escalation forums and follow up on remediation actions. Support the development of the pen testing program by participating in market research, maintaining run books, and enhancing infrastructure standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in IT security (3-5 years)
- 1-2 years coordinating security assessments or vulnerability remediation
- Production of metrics and reports on vulnerability management
- Strong stakeholder management across security, vendors and technical teams
- Operating within regulated environments, adhering to established policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Desired Qualifications
- Professional security certifications such as CISM, CISSP, Security+, CRISC or equivalent
