Assistant Vice President

Job Summary
Provide assistance to the Regional FINPRO Claims team and work on ad-hoc projects relating to claims reporting, efficiencies, and trends. Ensure claims turnaround times meet service standards while formulating claims strategies with clients to satisfy policy coverage requirements and achieve maximum settlement. Review insurance policy wordings and suggest improvements where appropriate, liaising with Marsh placement brokers. Coordinate all parties, including insureds, insurers, and lawyers, to deliver exceptional advocacy and advisory support. Assist with presentations, workshops, and client onboarding processes as necessary. This role requires a University Degree or Bachelor of Laws, or 2+ years of FINPRO experience. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office. Full-time employment with a hybrid schedule of at least three days onsite per week.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree/Bachelor of Laws/Previous legal experience
- 2+ years of FINPRO experience
- Experience with Professional Indemnity
- Experience with Directors & Officers Liability
- Experience with Medical Malpractice/Professional Indemnity Schemes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to build solid relationships at all levels both with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to digest and present information in a friendly format
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A growth mindset
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Being self-directed
- Must be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week
