Job Summary
AVP - Management Reporting role focusing on end-to-end cost reporting across Global Business/Global Functions, overseeing the Group Cost Performance team in India. Responsibilities include driving cost performance tracking (Actuals, Forecast, FRP, Budget, Target and savings), monthly ledger reviews, budget compliance monitoring, policy/compliance ownership, cross-functional coordination with Tax and Financial Controllers, leading FRP/budget reviews, managing audits, identifying system/process improvements, and delivering ad-hoc cost-optimisation and automation initiatives. Requires deep TM1 expertise, advanced Excel/PowerPoint, strong understanding of accruals and General Ledger, and ability to convey insights to senior leadership; 13+ years in finance-related roles and professional qualifications such as CA/CWA/MBA are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 13+ years of experience in Finance, Cost reporting, performance management and/or finance controlling
- TM1 proficiency for FRP/budget/forecast cycles and month-end close deliverables
- expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills for large datasets and senior-ready MI
- strong understanding of accrual processes to ensure costs are recorded in the correct financial year
- working knowledge of General Ledger to analyze cost and accrual postings
- ability to apply cost-driver level variance analysis to flag anomalies and support cost optimisation decisions
- demonstrated stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior leadership on policy/control discussions
- professional qualifications such as BCom/MCom/CA-Inter/CWA-Inter/CA/CWA/MBA
