Assistant Vice President, Listing Enforcement

Job Summary
Investigate misconduct and breaches relating to the Listing Rules; conduct disciplinary action including presentation before the Listing Committee; assist in enforcement matters and in formulating and implementing disciplinary and enforcement policy and procedures, and participate in other projects undertaken by the Department. Requires a qualified lawyer with at least 6 years PQE, with civil litigation experience in drafting pleadings, witness statements, and legal advice; strong English and Chinese language skills (Putonghua preferred); excellent interpersonal, presentation, analytical, writing, and advocacy abilities; capable of multi-tasking in a collaborative team environment and upholding integrity and fairness in regulatory enforcement.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer with at least 6 years PQE
- Experience in Civil litigation with substantial experience in drafting pleadings (including further and better particulars), witness statements and legal advice
- Experience in Exchange disciplinary action and SFC disciplinary/court action will be highly regarded
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, writing and advocacy skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese (proficiency in Putonghua is preferred)
- Professional and mature Work commitment
- A collaborative team player with strong organizational skills
- Efficient and able to multi-task
